I don't know if you did this on purpose but to me they look like they'd be an offshoot of the Rock'em Sock'em robots.

Nah, they're based on the Japanese Metal Heroes series. Though I guess I wouldn't blame you since they look like they could be toys. XD

(Maybe off-topic, but Rock'em Sock'em robots are a toy I have never seen irl. I guess they were never sold in Sweden?)

It’s like if Tim Burton directed that scene from the first Spongebob movie where Spongebob and Patrick reach that fake ice-cream stand. It’s really cool and unique! :)
